Hi! I am excited to be part of the community and look forward to serving Northeast Florida in my real estate career. I have enjoyed practicing real estate with Keller Williams in two other states, and am so excited to be here in Florida, helping clients and paying it forward. As a current restaurant owner and investment property owner, I have always appreciated those commercial associates who have gone the extra mile for me. I am committed to ensuring that my clients receive the same exceptional focused service from me as I help them navigate purchasing, selling and leasing commercial property.
My BS in Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University has lent itself to me in many ways over the last 25 years. With double majors in marketing and public relations, I always found myself in sales and communication roles. When my husband and I started The Chef and I 16 yeas ago, we could not have imagined the incredible journey we've had over the years and are thankful to have a successful award winning restaurant in the heart of Nashville, TN. Now, as residents of Florida, we are so proud of our team leaders who run the restaurant beautifully for us now. My dream was to always live in Florida, as that is where I have always been drawn to live, and are now living that dream. I feel very lucky to now be licensed in this great state and in our local community.
I'm a big believer in giving back, and my personal business model is based on just that; helping others and giving to the community that supports me and my family. I am actively looking for area non-profits to volunteer with and to create fundraising events around, as well as strategic partners and clients in the area. I have always been active in business and industry organizations, and plan to be heavily involved in the local business community through chamber of commerce locations, real estate organizations, and women in business initiatives.
As the CEO of a company with approximately 100 employees over the last 16 years, I bring a unique perspective to the table. I have always negotiated our own real estate and restaurant lease negotiations, and it came naturally to me, in part because I really love every aspect of it. I am excited to apply my real world experience coupled with my past years in real estate in both Mississippi and Tennessee to provide service now to clients who I feel will benefit from working with me. I am knowledgeable in maximizing investments, determining the best options for business owners and property owners, and providing continuing service throughout and after my clients' transactions.
As a winner of the "Most Admired CEO" and "Best in Business" with the Business Journals, I am often humbled by those that deem me worthy of such prestigious recognitions. I don't take those lightly, and am using the same set of skills and ability to communicate effectively and help others that, like me, are commercial real estate purchasers or lessees, or own and sell commercial real estate.
I enjoy the arts, especially theater and musicals, and am often in attendance in our areas wonderful community theater shows. I love live music, and the beach, which is part of why I love living here. I am an equestrian most of my life, focusing on hunter jumpers and English riding. I am excited to start training in dressage soon!
I love collaborating with other dynamic individuals and often facilitate mastermind round tables or panels in the business community. I have been a speaker for years, using my previous experience in radio and television to feel comfortable on any stage, speaking to groups about business, leadership, entrepreneurship, marketing, and branding. I have enjoyed being a guest lecturer at several universities and have delivered several keynote speeches. I hope to be able to volunteer my time here in the community, through speaking, mentoring others, or helping where needed.
